I think that a sun and a moon is the best symbol for unity because the moon and the sun are complete opposites but still, if they can get along in the sky,we can get along on earth, with peace and care for one another.

I think what AG said was so insightful. Even though the moon and sun never interact, they still need one another and depend on one another to keep going. Very interesting.

I think it’s really neat that a 10 year-old from Fredrick came up with the idea for the hand to symbolize unity. What does the idea of the handprint mean to you?

Dear mrs. P I like the idea of symbols on the bridge. I think that our desighns are also like the ones that we did on our murals.

Dear Mrs. P, I went to the symbols website and the symbols really matches their identity in real life. Example: The hands represents everybody and in real life, everybody has a hand.

My favorite one symbol is the camealeon. Whoever came up with that desighn is a good artist. I love the way his tail curves!

I think the hand is the best symbol because it means that every person counts and that no matter who you are or what you believe in you are still part of one comunity.
